Amrik Sangha

Founder of Amsa Digital, helping hyperscalers, developers and investors source land and power for hyperscale data-centre developments, and raise capital for emerging-market projects across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Amrik brings over 25 years of legal experience advising international companies developing globally, with more than 20 years focused on mega-projects and corporate real estate in the UAE, working both in-house and externally for the largest developers in the GCC. He was in-house corporate counsel at Emaar Properties PJSC and the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) of the Abu Dhabi Government, working on the largest projects in the UAE — including the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, through to Saadiyat Island.

He also acted as Managing Partner of Gateley Middle East for 12 years, based in the Dubai office, advising governments, institutional investors and private investors on large real estate investments globally, across the UK and GCC.

Amrik continues to work globally and has a large network of investors, advisors, founders, funders and contractors across the digital infrastructure sector. He sits on several boards of directors, from real estate investment funds to specific data-centre developers, across several jurisdictions, and is recognised as a leader in the sector.

His continued work developing hyperscale data centres in the GCC was recognised by Platform Global, with a nomination for Digital Infrastructure Law Firm of the Year, and he is regularly asked to comment at industry roundtables and contribute to industry articles.
